Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is a rapper-turned-actor who wanted to focus more on this singing career so he declined an acting role in the first Expendables movie. That role eventually went to Terry Crews and there was word on IMDb.com that Stallone had also noticed heavy negative reaction to the casting decision.

In August 2021, he was confirmed to star alongside Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture in The Expendables 4.
